Bahariya – White Desert

 

Day 1:
Our Rep will meet you to escort you by private AC car to Bahariya Oasis for check-in.  In the afternoon, local tour by jeep: visit of the Temple of Ain el-Muftella, a Roman Water Source, the Tomb of Bannantiu, the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Museum of Bahariya where you will find the Golden Mummies, and the English houses, “Gebel al-Ingleez.”  Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2:
Enjoy breakfast, then travel by Jeep 4x4 to the White Desert. Visit of the Black Desert and the Dune Area.  We start our climb of a 50-meter dune.  Lunch in El Heiz Oasis. En route to Farafra we visit the Crystal Mountain, the Area of the Wonders with the Desert Roses.  We’ll visit El Akabat, then head to the White Desert. We start exploring the formations and wind-carved sculptures. Then the New Desert.  In the evening, we have a barbeque dinner and sleep in tents beneath a starlit sky.

 

Day 3:
Enjoy breakfast, then be transferred back to Cairo.
